EYE CARE CENTER

The organization has developed the project proposal for establishment of Eye Care Center for elderly and person living with disabilities in Arusha region within the United Republic of Tanzania.

This is due to the increasing of elderly individuals and person living with disabilities that need a specialized eyes care services. The establishment of the center represents a crucial step towards fulfilling the demand and ensuring that our elderly and person living with disability receive high quality of eye care, treatment and support. The center will focus on providing a comprehensive range of eye services, wellness programs, and social activities specifically designed for the elderly and persons living with disabilities.

The aim of this project proposal is to address the critical issue of limited access to eye care services, particularly in elderly and person living with disabilities. The project will focus on implementing a comprehensive approach to improve the accessibility, affordability and availability of eye care services for elderly and all individuals living with disabilities, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographic location.

Generally, the community is facing the challenge of quality eye care services for ageing people and persons living with disability whereby poverty, is also serious issue that affects this community in Tanzania.
