About us

Embrace Africa is a Non-Governmental Organization registered in Tanzania, under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children with Registration No: 00NGO/R/2236. The Organization is committed to support marginalized communities in Tanzania with direct impact to the orphans, disabled kids, girls, women and other vulnerable groups through different social initiatives including programs and projects relating to Education, Health, Social services, Humanitarian aid and Legal representation.

Embrace Africa is strongly committed to fight against and overcome all sort of violence against women and children, to provide legal aid, legal services and create awareness to marginalized vulnerable groups so as to understand their rights and welfare, and be able to protect themselves against Gender Based Violence.

History of Organization

Embrace Africa was founded in the year 2021 in response to a decrease in the standard of living, health care, legal representation and education in Tanzania. Embrace Africa founders realized that the vulnerable marginalized people of Tanzania were suffering from a lack of education, health, legal representations and community initiatives. Embrace Africa quickly became a grassroots organization, which aims to work with the community to empower them to find solutions and work towards alleviating problems facing their community. We provide the community with the tools knowledge, funding, and support to address these problems

Our Vission

We envision to access quality health and justice with positive development to marginalized communities in Tanzania

Our Mission

To improve accessibility of social services, justice and legal representation for marginalized communities in Tanzania and enhancing protection of human rights and eliminating all forms violence through comprehensive collaboration with other stakeholders.

Objectives

a) To eliminate all forms of violence and abuse against women youth and children and improving their welfare
b) To provide legal representation to women, children, youths, disable and orphans who demand it but cannot otherwise afford it.
c) To strengthen the households by building capacity and empowering the community economically so as to improve their standard of living.
d) To mobilize and organize like-minded legal practitioners, advocates, researchers, activists and the civil society at large in advocating for the rights of marginalized community in Tanzania.
e) To play a crucial role in advocating for the rights of women, children, youths and orphans including people with disabilities, victims of abuse, homeless children and children in conflict with the law.
